He is probably one of the best backwards skaters in the entire league... can pivot so well and takes one stride to get going.

I saw him a handful of times in person at Bowling Green. He has Cornerback hips. He switches directions very well and stays smooth and aggressive when going in reverse. He played a TON of Minutes and managed to stay bursty through the whole games despite that. His cardio must be through the roof.

Curt is an absolutely perfect captain to lead a young team on a Stanley Cup run. The fact that we have two other great captains around (G and Bunny) is gravy on the cake.

And Sam Morin looks great (I've only seen 3rd period) tonight. Skating well. Really, we don't need Braun. Play Ghost with Sam and trade Braun for a ransom to the Jets! Braun looks like dreck.

That stride was definitely learned and practiced. Guy probably doesn't get off the ice in the offseason.
