IMO, I wouldn't mind trying Redden out there and sitting Hamilton again.

Kids got a bright future...but man, he gets pushed off the puck way too easily in the defensive zone.

Chara | Boychuk (Boychuk hasn't been the same since they've been separated)
Seidenberg | McQauid
Ference | Redden

Morris Wanchuk

Either Lucic or Thornton deserve to be benched for their lack of spark last night.

But being realistic going into the playoffs.

Soderberg/Lucic-Krejci-Jagr
Marchand-Bergeron-Seguin
Paille-Campbell-Kelly
Lucic/Soderberg-Peverley-Horton

If this team plays to their potential, that lineup is phenomenal.

Execution the key don`t ya think Morris? I`m comfortable with the system they play, as we saw last night, this team struggles when things open up a touch, just not the foot speed needed to play that style IMO

Totally agree.

Redden looked real good in my eyes last night and his experience will also help this team.

But I worry how Dougie will/could react to being sat again.

I'd be tempted to sit them both for a couple of games. Might be so crazy as to tell them to stay home.

But the one shift last night that Looch played with Seguin he was flying. Then he went back to sleep.

As much as it pains me to see Lucic on the first line at this particular moment, I think these lines look reasonable. Looch had some spark playing with Seguin yesterday. Give it a try. But I would prefer to sit him tomorrow to send a message. He did nothing yesterday to deserve promotion to the first line.

Love those lines Lou, except for the last D pairing.

Ference to me still pinches when he should sit back and I'm worried Dougie could not cover him up.

Looch would be pumped to play with those two, Marchand had something going with Jagr before the head hit.

I think once Soderberg is in the line up Soup should go back to the 4th line center with Kelly Bergeron and Krejci the other centers. The wingers should fight it out.

A part of me wouldn't mind seeing Looch, Kelly, Seguin again. I think it is more likely though that the MBS line stays together. Looch and Soderberg should fight it out for Krejci's wing.

It will be interesting to see where Julien puts Soderberg for his first game.

This is what I want to see as well. I think Lucic and Seguin always seem to click. This is such a deep line up. That third line would add so much depth to the offense it would be great.

I don't want Lucic anywhere near a top line right now, especially with Bergeron. Lucic isn't playing a hard enough game to warrant that playing time. Plus, Bergy and Seguin need speed and a net front presence, not someone to get pushed around on the boards.

Marchand - Krejci - Jagr
Soderberg/Campbell - Bergeron - Seguin (Campbell getting shifts until Soderberg has proven himself)
Paille - Kelly - Horton (best line last night, let them run this for a while)
Lucic - Campbell - Peverly

Really hope Bergeron's work ethics lights a fire under Lucic's ass. In theory this line has all kinds of talent - from board work, to speed and finish.

I agree he doesn't deserve it, but those two could really ignite him... I think he just needs a 2 goal game and he will be right back to where we need him. Priority #1 should be trying to get him in play-off mode.

Maybe. Swap boychuk and hamilton but other than that I love the forward lines.
Speed will vet looch going.
