Grabbed a lot of geezers, and I like it. Made sure to have a high diversity of teams, and match my goalie to a couple star players. That way I won’t have to pit at least some star players against my own goalie. Also in consideration of the playoffs, I preferred players on teams that would be fighting for a spot in April, and deprioritized goalies since they seem to always get rested in April. I can just pick up the strong team’s back-up for that if I want. And back-ups always get the easier matches anyway. ESPN 10-team league H2H points. Draft order by position, age included:

Rielly (29)
Martinez (36)
Vasilevskiy (29)
Kuemper (33)
17 different teams (of a highest possible 22), assuming Kane becomes a Sabre or stays a Ranger.
While Kane, Martinez, and Vasilevskiy are on IR, Zacha, Drouin, and Levi sub in. Only two IR spots so Martinez/Kuemper are floating in FA. Kane/Vasilevskiy on IR.
I also save one spot to use up my 6 acquisitions for the week if I feel the need to pad extra points. Add/Drop players from FA who have favorable matchups to increase games played each week.
If they do well a couple months into the season, the team name will become Geezers Got Game, or Geezer’s New Groove, or Old Man Strength. I have not kept up with hockey much the last few years, so I took guys with legacy or bounceback potential. Even still, I think these guys will be very formidable.
