Even though he wasn't a deadline day (2/25) acquisition, Jared McCann, who was traded on 2/1, has the most points after the deadline with 13 points.

Brian Gibbons has the most out of anyone traded on deadline day with 12 points, followed by Kevin Hayes and Ryan Donato at 11 points.

Hagelin has been as advertised but that's not about points. Glad they got him

Who else?

Jared McCann 13 P in 15 GP since the TDL (was traded for earlier)

Am I losing my mind or has McCann not played 28 games for PIT already? Any site I pull up has him playing this many.

As for Sheahan, think he has 1 goal and 9pts in 29 games played for FLA. Brassard was traded again so I dont care about him anymore

He’s played 16 since the deadline is what everyone is referencing. I know, I was confused too

I’m just here to help reiterate how amazing McCann and Bjugstad have been for the Penguins. Totally changed the route of our season.

McCann is scoring everywhere other than the power play which is a blessing alone in comparison to what Sheahan and Brassard were bringing.

I would argue Sheahan was not disappointing at all but Brassard was awful his entire tenure here and I’m slightly satisfied he’s seemed to fallen off a cliff. Tanner Pearson had a better run with the Penguins than Brassard.

and Bjugstad is a beast. He looks like the perfect 6’6” 220 lb right handed 3C you’d create in EA NHL in Franchise mode for the Pens and he’s played just as well. He gets prime scoring chances every single game. Before the Trade deadline we were a one-line team. and now we’re a lot more than that.

:dm:

(don’t forget about 27 year old shut down righty Gudbranson who has been way better than expected.) 15 gp, 0 goals - 2 apples +/- 7

All 3 of the one-time Panthers castoffs have been much, much better than I expected.

Much.

I'm talking much over here.

Nyquist should have gotten 5 goals for his one the other night. Got tripped and hit his face on the ice badly enough to chip his front teeth. Gets on the 2nd unit, scores, then goes to the locker room for repairs.
