Yep agree, Guhle has been dealing with alot of injuries, just rest and come back healthy next year kid.I would prefer Ghule not participating in that tournament for the same reason I would love to see Dvorak, Anderson and Gallagher take part
He hasn't decided if he is going yetcurious about Suzuki im sure they would love to add him
Slafkovsky wants to go too:
Suzuki from February, but I doubt that changed:
Maybe Montembeault, Matheson, Mesar and Reinbacher but didn't see anything yet.
Doubt he does it, but I think Xhekaj could technically play for the Czechs, but no way he makes team Canada unless no one goes.
Armia was at the last WC and had a better season this year so who knows.
Seeing Hutson could be nice, but I doubt it.
He's #3 on the active iron man list, behind Burns and Suter. The season before @ 71 games was a full slate as well. He has not missed a game yet in his career. This is surprising Suzuki has not missed a game in 4 seasons, 56, 82,82,82.
Any reason why? That country has birthright citizenship and Xhekaj has never suited up for Canada before.Xhekaj is not eligible to play for the Czechs.
We need centers. Dvorsky is more likely getting a shot this year. Would be nice to see them both play at the WCH through.Xhekaj is not eligible to play for the Czechs.
I think Mesar will be called up for pre-tournament games at least (assuming Kitchener gets eliminated). They invited Petrovsky, so Mesar is most likely going to get the chance to fight for a spot. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes it onto the final roster.
Mesar could go. He is playing centre with Kitchener. We have no good centres to play with him which sucks. Maybe Pospisil from Calgary will play C.
The only thing I understood from this post is that Americans are losersThat American team is going to be stacked. Glad to know Caufield & Slafkovsky are going.
I guess we'll see who else goes. It's still 3 and a half weeks away. That's plenty of time for Guhle to rest & heal up. Hopefully Suzuki goes.
IIHF rules. He wasn't born there and he would need to play there for a certain period of time to be eligible.Any reason why? That country has birthright citizenship and Xhekaj has never suited up for Canada before.
2 years are needed I guess.IIHF rules. He wasn't born there and he would need to play there for a certain period of time to be eligible.
