    ....and potential Canadian NHL markets.

""The Canadian economy will still continue to perform better than a range of other international economies mainly because we have a strong resource-based economy," said Todd Roberts, partner and leader of the national corporate strategy practice in Canada for Deloitte.

He said the institutions serving the millionaires in Canada are facing solid growth opportunity, particularly the private banking and full-service brokerage of major Canadian banks.

Vancouver, Calgary and such other prairie centers as Regina and Winnipeg are expected to be major hot spots for millionaires in Canada given the growth of the commodity sector there, added Roberts. "

A lot depends on US in/de-flation. If the US goes for QE3, the CDN$ goes through the roof, and makes things very nice for Canadian teams. On the other hand, a double-dip recession will reduce demand for commodites, and drag the CDN$ down. Without getting into ideology, let's just say that this week's Canadian election results are positive for the CDN$ over the next 4 years.
