Can't believe Jared Cowan made it to the 66th pick. In other pools he was going in the second round! I was hoping to scoop him but just noticed there were five defensemen that needed to be drafted this round before my last defense pick. Looks like things are getting pretty slim back there on the blueline...

I always thought he was more of a defensive defenseman, that's why I was staying away from him. There's still a couple more good ones though. Patrick Nemeth, Patrick Wey, Jakub Jerabek, and Tommi Kivisto come to mind.

I do agree about Cowan, and that's why I didn't take him earlier, but it is interesting to note how much people's opinions of him vary. Still, ninth round is a pretty big slide. He's lucky he wasn't sitting in the stands waiting for his name to be called like at the NHL draft. Lol.

I'd say we're on Leafguy's clock at the moment. Those are the rules that were set up and I say we stick with 'em.

He is going late in our pool, lmao at someone taking him in the 2nd round.

I have just realized that I got a message from Leafsfan1990 authorizing me to take my turn. As I need a defenseman and he needs a forward there won't be a conflict.

With my final pick I will take Nikita Pivtsakin from Russia.

F- Sean Couturier
F- Maxim Kitsyn
F- Richard Panik
F- Cody Eakin
D- Sami Vatanen
D- Justin Faulk
D- Nikita Pivtsakin

Ok, guys. Those of you with picks still outstanding need to get thim in so we can finish this thing off. Don't forget there are still a couple of guys that have been patiently waiting for you so they can get their final picks in, too.

83to48 make both your replacement picks at the same time since you need forwards, Redwings make yours then I'll make mine and were done. Can everyone post their final team in your next post.
