Ras, Walman, and whoever Kadre caved in were all out for significant time. And Husso - maybe he'd still stink if he were healthy, maybe not, but it did muck things up quite a bit, IMO.
Ras and Walman absence at the end of the season hurt, but for most of the season outside of Larkin the Wings were pretty fortunate with injuries. Ras I think played every game through March and Walman didn't miss many until mid-March, some of them because of being a healthy scratch IIRC. The immediate result of Husso's injury was that they got better goaltending. They weren't injury free of course -- Fabbri out early, Kane out three weeks later on, Compher and Chiarot missing a few -- but no one should expect that. IMO injuries were not an excuse for the team not being better defensively. They were bad even with everybody in the lineup.
