Quite possibly the 2 best love songs ever written, which one do you prefer?
It’s the king, man. With all due respect to the righteous brothers, this isn’t even close.
The King's version is alright but doesn't compare to the version by the king of reggae.
As much as I don't care for Elvis's bad movie phase of the 60s, one in awhile when motivated he could still record a gem in the studio. Can't Help Falling In Love is one of his better 60s songs, though it doesn't match up to his 50s stuff.
Can't Help Falling in Love. I used to sing it to my two daughters at bedtime when they were infants.
I actually like the Elvis version of "Unchained Melody" better than the Righteous Brothers.
Also, liked Are You Lonesome Tonight over Can't Stop Falling In Love.
If I'm sitting in front of a pottery wheel, it's no contest.
It might depend on who's sitting behind you. I can think of some possibilities that could make me never want to hear Unchained Melody again.
Elvis all the way. RB's song is too wimpy for male vocals. I like this version by a young Leann.
I don't like Elvis at all but absolutely love that song. I like both, but that one stands out to me.
Can't help, absolutely, and its been covered forever but my favorite edition of it, is done by Haley Reinhart. A piano jazz room style that just comes off as sweet and genuine.
