Caverns of Draconis
Colorado and it's not particularly close. Which isn't a knock on the Tampa Duo, they're probably Top 5 and if not they're certainly a Top 10 duo.

But Mack and Mikko are 1 and 2 in the league for points, by a pretty large margin. And over the last 110 games have put up some simply ridiculous numbers together.

I’m getting annoyed seeing all these Rantanen/MacKinnon polls lately. No disrespect to the thread starter.

Rants 3 pts above and Mack 1 pt above Kuchy is not being 1-2 in scoring “by a pretty large margin”

That margin is actually quite slim.

This may turn out to be a good battle this season. Kuch is on his way to passing the Avs duo. We'll see how things play out.

Given that Kuch has been elite for the last 2 full seasons, I think I'd rank him as the best player of the bunch:

(Current Season Points)

Kucherov (42)
Mackinnon/Rantanen (43, 45)
Point (37)

Thy aren't really that far off offensively, point is probably the best defensively of the bunch. I would still go Mackinnon/Rants however, but it's fairly close.

Didn’t MacK outscore Kuch last season?...

I don't understand these "not close" comments. I think it's extremely close in fact to a point where I'm not sure how to vote.

He said last two full seasons. In 2017-18 they were close but in 2016-17 Kucherov had 85 in 74 while MacKinnon was pretty meh with 53 in 82.

Point and Kucherov hasn’t played the full season together. Kucherov has been mostly with Stamkos. However since joining together they have gone on a ridiculous level of production. Will be interesting to see how they do over the course of the season.

They are both right in their prime I don't think at this age the difference really matters.

They are now but they weren’t at the start of the 2016-2017 season. Then MacK had just turned old enough to drink on a historically bad team; and it wouldn’t be until 10 games into the 2017-2018 season that he would breakout fully to reach this prime.

So I don’t think the age would be relevant if we were comparing them from the start of the 2017-2018 season, but when comparing them over the last two seasons it becomes a fair point IMO.

Naw, better p/gp I believe, but not raw points.

Since the start of the 2016/2017 season, Kucherov is second in raw points, 3rd in raw goals, and 2nd in points/gp. 2 and 1/3 seasons of offensive dominance.
