If they are all in their prime, it's clearly C for me.

Best goaltender, arguably the best player (Crosby) and their d-corps is pretty nice (Prime Weber AND Chara on the first pair? Players would die on the powerplay lol)

This is really hard to vote on and becomes even harder to look at when the 4th lines for some of these teams have an argument to be the 2nd line.

Either way, team B has the worst D. They have the two worst pairings of any team. They probably also have the best forward group.

Team A has two forwards (Jeannot and Simmonds) which don't seem to fit in with the rest of the guys listed. Their D though is crazy. You probably wouldn't be putting prime Erik Karlsson on the third pairing.

Team C's D is almost as good as A's.

Overall A maybe? That D rolling McDavid-Getzlaf-Toews-Kopitar at C?

I don't see how this isn't clearly team C. Best goalies, best defense, best top line. Best playoff performers, etc.

Jeannot on team A is so random

Easily C. More Hart winning forwards, more norris defenseman, and then probably the best goalie duo.

Having Ovi-Crosby-Kuch and Thornton-Stamkos in their primes would be insane combinations.

Sure Team C looks good but for me it's basically a coinflip on any of these 3 teams as one never knows about chemistry and hot goaltending.

Very very good poll. 3 very strong teams

Typically, in comparisons like this, I look at a few things:

Goalies - any differentiators/weaknesses? I like Vasi quite a bit, probably the most. I also like the Holtby/Quick combo so that's a bit of a wash with team 3 - but team A I have doubts about.

After goalies - I look for X-factors:

Crosby/Ovechkin/Kucherov. Arguably the top 3 x-factors among forwards. Malkin/McDavid are close too - but for one season/playoffs not sure I don't pick the first 3 forwards top 3. So another big boost to team C.

I don't think team 3 has any x-factors on defense - but they still have an extremely solid and capable defense squad.

I'll go team 3.
