Hello all!
Over the past few GDTs it has become increasingly apparent that the size of "tank nation" has grown. Substantially. That is OK and fully understandable.
What is not OK is the posts which essentially amount to actively cheering for the Leafs to lose in the GDT. The GDT is a place for Leafs fans to cheer on the team, and many of our posters do become discouraged with posts like "Kadri scored! He stopped the tank! Trade him Nonis!" and "Yeeessssssssssss, Reimer let in a softy!". If ANY other fanbase posted comments like this in the GDT, they would be subject to infractions and thread bans. From this point on, we as Leafs fans will be subject to infractions and/or thread bans for comments which actively cheer for the Leafs to lose in our GDT. Normal GDT complaints like "What a dumb turnover" or "Clarkson is terrible" are fine.
If you wish to post comments relating to the tank, please try to contain them in the tank thread. We realize there will be spillover into other threads (draft thread, trade thread, PGTs etc.), and thats fine......except for the GDT. You are also welcome to join the main board (NHL Talk) GDT and post tankish comments there.
