There's only so much creativity left. The internet is changing too in terms of what kinds of things can go viral, so photoshopped still images or three frame gifs don't have the cache they used to. Plus the board's average age is probably rising accordingly. And it's all been done before. Some years teams come up with dumb shit. Other years we've gone with a spin-off of a then-trendy meme that in retrospect won't hold up (Charlie Sheen quotes, etc). All that adds up to more apathy than years past towards playoff avatars.

That said, Peaky Bruins is pretty solid, should be a winner if we're doing it.
