Half of Edmonton's roster. As much as I want to see Edmonton succeed, it's just depressing how many potential elite forwards are wasting away on their team.

A year ago I would have argued a stronger case for PK Subban on the Habs than any other player in the NHL.

As upset as I am to see PK gone from Montreal - I think he's about to have an absolutely fantastic season and show the world how much Therrien and the Habs management restrained his ability to dominate games as a player of his talent should.

He's going to win the Norris this season - and maybe even make a run at the Hart if he propels Nashville to the top.

Karlsson will be a popular choice. Price is an honourable mention. In his prime with no chance to make noise in the playoffs, a buffoon for a coach and a sociopath for a GM.

They're all really young and the team will be better.

The answer is Karlsson. The entire organization is spinning their wheels. He's wasting his prime years.

Without seeing how they perform for 82 games on another team, it's guesswork. Many players have put up personal bests while wasting away on less competitive teams.

If Edmonton misses the playoffs this year, I will begin to think the league is missing out on an opportunity to market McDavid and raise his profile.
