Yakapov never really got a full shot when he had confidence.

Josh Ho Sang seems to be getting a raw deal with Islanders as well.

I always get **** after mentioning this name but.... Teemu Pulkkinen, sure he has flaws in his game
but if he was given a true chance in the NHL his pro's would of out shone his con's.

13-14 season: 3 games for Red Wings, total of ice time: 21 minutes and change (about 7 minutes per game)
14-15 season: 31 games for Red Wings, about 11 minutes per game
15-16 season: 36 games for Red Wings, about 11 minutes per game
16-17 season: 9 games for Wild, about 9 minutes per game, 4 games for Coyotes, about 9 minutes per game

0.47 goals per game and 0.93 points per game in the AHL (241 games)
+ 0.58 goals per game and 0.86 points per game in the AHL play-offs (43 games)

He is still relatively young, what?, 26?, 27?. Really hope that one day, some NHL coach re-discovers him
and gives him a shot that he clearly deserves.
He was on the 2nd line briefly for the Wild but looked horrendous and clearly wasn't NHL capable. Lost the puck to a light breeze and wasn't able to hit the net with his only tool when space was taken away by NHL caliber defenders. Not to say he didn't compete and put the effort in, just not able to adjust to NHL speed and wasn't in the cards for him. Wonder if he had ever transitioned to Defense, he could have been a Zidlicky or MAB clone, not that defensemen like that are in high demand anymore but maybe he could have maybe had a career just taking one timers from the point.

5 seasons. Yakupov had 5 seasons after his rookie year to get his confidence. He had a hard shot and could skate fast right into defenders sticks. He wasn't good.

For the Canucks, a guy named Sergei Shirokov. Whenever he played in the NHL I thought he played great but our coach would never play him.

If you listen to him, Sparks apparently lol

Sparks seeking 'fair opportunity' to make Golden Knights out of camp

""All I've wanted is a fair opportunity, come (training) camp, to try and make the team and I think that I'll get a better opportunity (with Vegas) than I would have in Toronto," Sparks told Myers. "At the end of the day, that's what you're looking for as a player.""

Not like he was given the job over McBackup and despite shitting the bed every game always allowed to play another.

Tanner Glass got about nine more chances than he should have.

Always felt that Nathan Gerbe is an NHL player but NHL coaches and execs are just not going to use a 5'4" 4th liner.

galchenyuk has been garbage for 3 years now keeps getting chances tho

meanwhile, daniel carr has produced good results in small samples for 4 straight years now and cant seem to get a full time NHL gig

Came to say Carr.

He'd get points, play well and as soon as he didn't, he was out of the lineup, but other useless players got multiple chances to suck ass. McCarron, De La Rose, Desharnais, etc.

He needs to go to Ottawa. A team where there's a good chance he'll get the full season and pp time to show what he can do.

Briefly....pfft, 1 frigging game (or so), clearly one can make that opinion of a player after 1 game...
Bull, with the side of crap.

No one cannot deny the facts, he was never given a TRUE chance in the NHL,
lets say a 20+ games, in the 1st line with top guys, 19-21 minutes a game.
- all he did was score lots of goals and points in the AHL in a top role, what else you'd
ask from a offensive player, you'd think for what he did in the AHL would of earned those 20 games at least.
