I've read up to tab 1 in your attached report - interesting stuff, will read more tomorrow.

I muddled through the rest of this and it really is all over the place. I'm guessing no court directive on how the information was to be collected/presented. No 2 financial reports were the same. Hard to compare apples to oranges sorta thing. Interesting read but for people like me it is a bit confusing.

I think it boils down to the compensation package the OHL is offering players. If they want to lure players away, then financial incentives (brokered through the league) need to be offered. The player plays where they are drafted and their compensation includes travel allowances for family. Education isn't the sole draw for every high-end player, but make it fair across the league.
