Kompany injured 10 minutes into tre game and Pep subs him for Jesus. Quite the difference when ZZ subbed Nacho on, during a must win game.

The only glaring hole in Sterling's game when he went to City was his production/final third decision making. Now he's essentially scoring at a goal a game pace while also providing for others. He works hard off the ball, he's creative, he scores, he can dribble or play a passing possession game and he's lethal on the counter. What would you consider to be the holes in his game?

His final ball passes are still mediocre at best. He's in good form and scoring well, but if you take Aguero, Jesus, De Bruyne, etc. away from him he'd be the exact same player.

He doesn't have great IQ, isn't a natural finisher, struggles with the final pass too.

But really, do I need to argue?
Which player, besides Messi, doesn't have holes in his game?

So is there a point to saying that a player has holes in their game without elaborating? Or do you just enjoy redundancy?

Also pretty funny saying he doesn't have 'great IQ' given the level of understanding he's nurtured with guys like Silva, de Bruyne, Aguero and co. and how quickly he's adapted to Guardiola's system. The other stuff well...if what he's doing isn't dispelling that stuff for you guys so be it. He's probably just lucking into his goals and such.

Sterling's role in Guardiola's system is essentially to run into free areas and convert leftovers from Silva, de Bruyne, Aguero, etc.

He's surrounded by some of the smartest attacking players in football and they open an absolute ton of space for him.

The only one talking shit is you. Someone acted as if Sterling was a major threat for England, to which I said, he still hsa GLARING holes in his game.
OBVIOUSLY, you trolled about it (because 80% of your posts are troll jobs), saying, what holes does he have?
Well, DUH !

Yes, his IQ is still lacking. As well as the other stuff I said.

Curtinho probably believes Sterling could do that with any team.

It's obvious he benefits A LOT from his surroundings right now. Good for him, he's taking his chances.
But he's certainly not a world class player right now.

This isn't true at all, but this is a pointless discussion. I still dislike Sterling. If you can't appreciate what he's turning into as a player though that's fine, and if you (not you specifically, but in general) don't think he's a 'major threat' on any team right now well...

That was a good finish. Honestly Lacazette has not impressed me very much other than the Man United game and some appearances earlier this season.

Sterling, as a player, is best when he's the third or fourth best scoring option. Hence why he looked great with Sturridge and Suarez and now.
