no need to waive Nielsen. We aren’t dying for his roster spot and I’d rather just wait out his last year and be done with him if he’s healthy enough to play.

We don’t have to cut players for the sake of cutting them. There is roster space enough to add Suter and not dump anyone

I'm in. I wanted him to sign here last year and he played extremely well for the Hawks last year. I'd love to see him tried out as the 2C for now and then he could drop down to 3C when the time comes. EH has his most likey contract projection as 4 years x 4.178M AAV, his 1-3 year deals all carry an AAV of 3-3.5M. I think a 3 x 3.5M deal makes sense given his age and our center depth.

Think we have enough centers, because Veleno did look very good at last season. I think we should gamble with concussion-Kase or Nick Ritchie.

What serves Veleno better at this point? First line ahl minutes or 3rd line NHL minutes? I like the idea of having him in the NHL.

Sign Suter and then move Vlad down the line up, I guess that's a possibility.

I’d be fine with overpayment so long as Illitch OKs it. I actually think we could be rather attractive to him in the right circumstance.

1 year deal to play second line with his friends from OHL, get more work under his resume then potentially dip or raise his bargaining power.
