It was the whos-who of the scouting at the Sioux-Gophers games during the weekend. The interested on-lookers included Buffalo GM Joshua Pitt and Carolina GM Dion Ong. Both had their vested interest in the game as they both had prospects in the game.
"Sure we wanted to see our prospects," said Ong. "But we have just come back from Bemidji after watching the Sioux-Bemidji ball game. Josh had connections with the coaching staff, so we took the opportunity to see him."
With two 4-3 games in Minnesota's favour, Ongseemed satisfied with his draft picks and potential draft picks.
"(Blake) Wheeler is coming along nicely and so is (Alex) Goglioski," said Ong."Both Toews and Kessel had impressive games. I look forward to seeing them at the WJCs."
