That Carter NMC has really screwed the Penguins this year.

Nothing, he’s been an alright 4th liner. Rakell is coming back from injury and Puustinen has played better than him. He’s better than Harkins and Gruden by a mile though so idk.

Nothing. He could easily play a 3rd wheel with Crosby/Guentzel, and allowing the Pens to spread out depth. But that would be too smart for Sullivan.

you could make the argument that it is time for change in Pittsburgh, but Sullivan would easily be the best coach available.

Regarding Hinostroza, Don’t players who have played a certain number of games or who have been on the nhl roster a certain number of days have to clear waivers before being sent to the minors?

Hilarious how all coaches pull the same BS. Quenneville's dog-house in Chicago was legendary. Guy could play 20 elite games in a row, makes one rough play, he'd never be seen again.

Meanwhile, old vets could vomit all over the ice for an entire season without missing a shift.

Meanwhile, their leading ES scorer from last season, Morgan Frost, has been scratched like 10 times this season. I'd love to understand why coachs do stupid shit like this.

Exactly. Of all the people to get cut, its him? They both have good motors, but Hino has at least produced a few points, in fewer games, than Harkins' total lack of production (0G, 0A). On a team that desperately needs any production the bottom 6 can give us.

Its a marginal decision, but still makes no sense to me.
