Another poorly written article from a poorly run website. The writer of the article has simply reiterated what dozens of other writers have already said numerous times over the past few weeks. Didn't learn anything new from the article, either.

Injuries are an excuse, regardless of the extent. All teams go through them....and in fact the centres that came in played quite well. The Leafs' little slide there wasn't because of injuries. They largely played the same, they just didn't capitalize on their limited opportunities (was bound to happen), and opponents capitalized on the fact that the Leafs play a poor possession game.
