It's a mix of both. But when you have these streaks it's usually good and less good games in there but you still win.

Our game against them was 1 of those less good games that they still managed to win. Same happened to us with our 12 games winning streak last year.

it all evens out, they've won quite a few games they shouldn't have won in this streak, and they've lost quite a few games they should've won before the streak

Because the Metro is ridiculous and if we hadn't had this surge we would be far on the outside looking in for a wildcard spot.

We're very volatile. The defense is still a mess and the only saving grace on that end is that Provorov has been able to step in and play like a legitimate top-4, even top-2 with increasing regularity, at only 19 years old. We haven't had very many games where we get a lead and then comfortably build and protect it through the course of a period+ which is concerning.

Seriously though, they are playing some good hockey right now.

They are playing very well right now... good mix of talent, toughness and work ethic.
