They didn't react well to it, but no one was predicting a 6 Man DL to keep the Rams' OL from getting to the second level in Running situations. KVN and Patrick Chung were covering the flanks and Dont'a Hightower was Zoning up the MOF. It was absolutely brilliant.

Now disguising coverages before the snap so well because Goff can't read them quick enough, that's on him, sure. But NE still did it incredibly well in that game.

we also have to factor in the gurley aspect. Went from mvp candidate to mia and it killed their playaction which was a huge part of their game.
