His passing is definitely his best attribute. He's also a huge individual. He's gonna be a monster when he fills out more. Would have liked to see him score more of those short shots in close, but its just the first game of summer league

Gerald Henderson 2 years for $18 million

Another solid signing.

Outside of the ridiculous rumored Dunn offers and the impending terrible Noel//Okafor deal, Colangelo has done an infinitely better job that I ever dreamed.

Nice job filling out the rotation with veterans who know their roles, not 2nd rounders and undrafted rookies. An experienced back court will be good for the young bigs.

I like his approach so far. Rounding out the team into something beyond 10 wins.....maybe 30ish or .500 if they gel by midseason. Between the Flyers and Sixers I'm going to be watching more TV than usual on weeknights....and weekends going to sports bars. I hate winter and cold but it warms the heart to see progress with both teams. Not much into football....so don't really care about the Eagles much.

So far BC hasn't done anything stupid.

They've upgraded the guard position, the draft picks were fine, but TLC needs a year to adjust and Furkan is 2-3 years away. And the two guards they'll probably draft next year will need a year to grow up. So having veteran mentors who can slide into bench roles is a great move. And they'll help the big guys develop this year.

Simmons provides a real luxury in that you can go with combo guards instead of a true PG, because he's a better passer than most PGs and at 6'10, can see the court the way a 6'1 PG can only dream about. So your guards just have to be able to beat the press and get it up court.

And shoot a little bit which Bayless and Henderson can do for the most part
