This was a guy who I had absolutely no faith in. Saw him a buncha times up close in the minors and saw nothing in him, and then he gets to the NHL and we all got to see that he is, indeed, something. Glad to have been wrong and happy for the kid and the team, good deal.

Aube-Kubel had decent numbers last season in a limited role, he should be able to move up the lineup if he keeps playing good.

Fantastic bottom 6 guy. Good skater, a pain in the @$$, and he can put up points for a bottom sixer. Even sees some occasional pp time. Thrilled to have him back.

I would too. I'm not sure who I was more impressed with in the series vs the Isles. Seemed to hear "Nak" and Pitlick's name way more than Giroux and Voracek,
