I suspect Sandstrom will clear, not needed in Arizona as Vejmelka and Ingram are proven NHL goalies.Sandstorm belongs in Arizona
Sounds like Arvid Soderblom to me…25 NHL games, 3 wins. I'm assuming that is pretty solid evidence as to his NHL upside, even with those games being a dark period in Philly. Any Flyers fans have a scouting report on this guy?
0.907 in Sweden, 0.904 in the AHL, the question was what was this guy even doing in the big league.

Just gotta get him signed to a $5 million deal and Ken is all set.
We were hoping he could’ve helped the tank. For some reason, the Flyers have been worried that he would be claimed. I guess because we’re now eyeing the playoffs, they’re not concerned that he’d be against them in a race to the bottom.0.907 in Sweden, 0.904 in the AHL, the question was what was this guy even doing in the big league.

Interesting to look at the Flyers draft history when it comes to goalies. While there have been some noticeable early round misses, several of their later picks have gone on to long careers - either with the Flyers or elsewhere (most noticeably Ron Hextall (6th, 192 overall)).
Ya, but that's over 40 years ago. Not exactly "nailing it" on the late rounders. Or on goalies, period.
Trust me, I've lived the pain.
