Damn, beaten by seconds.

Okay, sure though. Worely wasn't very good but Smith isn't really either, and he's more expensive. CB becomes a priority now.

I really hate that the Eagles win seemingly every trade. Torrey Smith isn't very good, Worley still has a small change to be.

Worley was pretty bad his two years here and was only a 3rd round pick. He's okay in the red zone where there's less space, but can't keep up with speedy or shifty guys and has to give them a ton of cushion just to not get burned. He lost his job to Keyvon Seymour for half the season.

All Smith has to do is play the Ted Ginn role reasonably well and he'll have more of a positive impact for Carolina than Worely. Not every trade has to have a winner. Sometimes neither team wins, sometimes both teams win. This time, it seems both got something they could use while giving up something they no longer wanted.

Worley can't cover anyone. Would have been fine just cutting him. Not a huge Torrey Smith fan but at least it gives Newton another potential option at WR.

The Panthers need all the help they can get in the secondary, so giving up on Worley says quite a lot. Who knows, maybe he'll learn how to cover with the Eagles.

Felony, DUI, and weapons violations. Eagles won’t deal with that.

He's probably gonna plead out and eat the DUI charge. Those are usually two game suspensions. Raiders need bodies so that they don't have to waste more draft capital on corners.
