College guys could get in 17-18 games in if they leave school at the end of the college season.

So this could be a very interesting AHL season for the Flyers, I'm sure Fletcher would love to see some of his college prospects in the AHL to get a better read before the ED and then next summers trade/FA market.

Meanwhile he gets to see Millman, Foerster and Wisdom, while also seeing the progress of Kase, Sushko and Hogberg first hand, as well as Sandin (1 yr contract).

If the 11 bolded are considered NHL Prospects with a possible/reasonable chance, that would be a record for the Phantoms in recent years - and that goes to 14 if/when Ratcliffe, Allison and Usti return, and then there's York.

Will make the Phantoms worth following. Of course, knowing Gordon, the AHL vets will play while the kids watch from the pressbox, but....

Foerster and Wisdom are full bodied guys, so playing in the AHL at 18 won't be a problem in that regard.
Millman is 19 so it's not as big of a jump.

Yeah I have a feeling the CHL guys won’t get a full run. They wouldn’t even play guys like Sanheim, Myers, and Friedman full time when they joined the Phantoms.

Just once - once - I would like one of the idiot reporters to ask Chuck, Alain and Gordo: "What exactly are you so afraid of?"

Any idea of what the lines might look like when the Phantoms season gets started?

I don't, but you can generally get a feel for them by looking at the ages of the players. The older they are, the more "ready" they will be considered to be, and the higher up they will play in the line-up. One must be ready to get into the top two or three lines on the Phantoms, and then one must either dominate (AKA "pwn") with the Phantoms, or turn 28 years of age, if one hopes to play for the Flyers, albeit briefly.

Sadly, this is only partially sarcastic.
