Always nice to see Fleury looking solid. Good that Sid got the monkey off his back as well, 2 solid games in a row for him, hopefully hes over whatever was affecting him.

Jacques Martin hockey. I'm not a big fan of it, but they limited the Rangers scoring chances. My only worry is how well it will hold up against very skilled teams as the Pens have relatively little experience running the trap.

Anybody see what the Pens bench was pissed about in the last seconds of the game?

++ Fleury. He was exceptional tonight. Really deserves all the praise he's going to get for this game.
+ Sid scored
+ Paul Martin is a beast
+ We won

- Refs
- Craig Adams killing the penalty at the end of the game.

Why ask that?

Fun fact of the day:

Pens used the stacked lineup all of game 5 against Columbus

They used it for 50 minutes of game 6, until Vitale went out.

They used it pretty much all of game 2.

They used it almost exclusively after the first 10 minutes tonight.

If my math is right, then that means the Pens have used the 14-87-71, 36-16-18, and 19-57-22 lines for 220 minutes of hockey.

And they have given up 1 goal.

Only Dan Bylsma would see the need to mix that up.

+ MAF, Martin and Letang. Letang's been great since game 3 against CBJ.

Amazing what MAF can do when he plays for something somewhat resembling a competent team.
