I liked Krebs more at the draft, and i still do. Podkolzin offers a skillset with his size and more powerful game that is obviously sought after in the NHL, and in some ways may be the "safer" pick. He should still be able to make an impact even if he doesn't make it as a real Top-6 scorer. But i still prefer the offensive upside of Krebs, and the likelihood of reaching that Top-6 scorer upside. Krebs is plenty well-rounded and feels relatively "safe" to me too, and it's hard to see him not at least managing to carve out a career as a useful Top-9 swiss army knife type player.
