Picked up both on FA at the start of the season, now they’re both on IR, with potential long return times. I only have one IR spot, so my question is should I drop one, or just tough it out? Both have great potential, especially Brady since it’s a banger league.

I would try and trade one of them first. Both are looking like solid assets so far. You don’t want to get nothing in return for good young players. Maybe go for an upgrade somewhere else on your roster.

I would keep Pettersson first and foremost. Good on you for getting both guys for free.

I dropped Tkachuk and picked up Kapanen after reading he was going to get first line minutes. Not the best call.

Keeper? Dynasty? Redraft?
If you're dead set on only keeping one, I would keep Pettersson.
Otherwise I'd try and get something in a trade for the one you don't keep.

Just a one year redraft league. Didn’t think about trying to trade one initially, but that’s not a bad idea.

Can't expect a ton back in return in redrafts formats, especially with both banged up now. But there might be a Sens or Canucks fan out there who might part with something useful for you in return.

Pettersen should miss less time. I'd hold both as Pettersen should be back sooner so you can still stash Tkachuk.
