Thanks for sharing! I have nothing but the fondest memories of Petr---one of my favorite players of all-time. I'm glad to read that he is doing well back home and spending time with the kids!

Good stuff! Always had a soft spot in my fanhood for Sykora. 1995 was a pivotal year in turning me from casual fan into full blown fanatic. 1995 was the first draft which I watched, so Sykora was that first prospect who I got to follow for his entire career. When I visited Detroit a couple weeks ago, it gave me an excuse to buy a Detroit Vipers jersey since that's where Sykora played during his draft year.

I'm sure I'm not alone in being happy that his second stint with his team was a more fitting last memory than his departure in 2002. I recently picked up an Arnott jersey and one of these years I am going to get a Sykora to finish the A-Line set.
