This, to me, is exactly why he A) can't be brought back B) the notion of him getting more starts just can't happen and C) can't be trusted in the playoffs as some people have thought about.

Not like Howard has played himself into the playoff starter position. Objectively Monster has been the better goalie, and if the Wings want any chance of not having a 4 game playoff run, starting Monster is their best bet.
