LET’S UTILIZE FORTUNES WE’VE HAD AND END IT IN RALEIGH.

SINCE I HAVE BEFRIENDED SOME OF THE FLIGHTLESS BIRDS... @ColePens @BladeRunner66
I THINK THEY’D APPRECIATE THE HILLARITY OF SWEEPING SOMEONE ONLY TO GET SWEPT.

If we knock out the Caps in max-painful fashion, and then turn around and sweep the Islanders, we might subsume the whole damn Pens fanbase.

Hypothetical for next week if it gets there. Games 6 & 7 are scheduled to be back 2 back, Carolina is up 3 games to 2. If Petr is not back by then, given how Ned has played in Charlotte and given he didn't look out of place winning in Vancouver, do you consider starting Ned in game six at home with a chance to clinch so as to avoid having to start McElhinney in a back to back?

I wouldn't. I would think playing in front of that crowd at home would be too much pressure for a kid like that to handle. We'd be better off playing him on the road, but wouldn't want to do that in a game 7. Basically, no Ned unless McStarter is completely broken.
