Cool. All I remember is this was the shooter to be playing on the N64, more than Goldeneye but I had trouble getting it because my parents didn't want to buy it and the local stores actually enforced ratings and their age restrictions. My friend somehow ended up renting/buying it.

I didn't realize there was an entire story.

I didn't hate the sequel as much as most seemed to, but I'm always skeptical when you've got completely different people working on a sequel/reboot/whatever to a great game 20 years later.

Fingers crossed it turns out well.

It basically sounds like they want to make a sci-fi Jason Bourne FPS. Sounds good to me.

I'd like more secret agent games a la Perfect Dark or No One Lives Forever.

The talent that studio has stolen from others is pretty great, so I think it’ll be quite good, but probably 2022 at the earliest.

Sounds cool but it's years away. Though tbh my nostalgia for this game is just gone, it's been like 20 years and there's no way to replicate the basement local multiplayer sessions of days past.
