I have no problem with his output. I mean, I don't think it's any fluke that he's a PPG player, he's obviously really good offensively.

Criticizing good players when they play bad is fair game. A guy like Scheifele has been terrific for a long time. If he plays like ass for a stretch, we can comment on it. He gets a ton of credit when he plays great. Goes both ways.

They seem to be going through the malaise we've been going through. Difference is, we seem to be on the rebound and they're still flushing twice.

Oh, and Simmonds is still one of the bigger losers in the league. Very glad he’s on the Preds and not the Jets.
