1. For as much as we complain about the Pens crowd being as loud as a church service, genuine kudos to the fans for the ‘FIRE HEXTALL’ chant. It felt good hearing that.

2. Feel bad for Malkin and Letang that they returned and signed up for this shit. They don’t deserve this.

3. We all knew this day would come with this era but it still feels way too soon. A shame.

When Mike Sullivan changes the lines, he does it with the intention of not really changing anything. Like he’s trying to satiate the fans, but it’s all lipstick on a pig. It never truly addresses the real issues of the team. The ice time of the biggest disappointments on the roster doesn’t really change. It’s real dumb, but it’s also kind of ingenious.

God I loathe that guy.
