WBS is already over the veteran limit at this point, so sending a guy like Pyatt down would just force a player that's been contributing down there out of the line up. Just scratch him.

It's already happened with Kobasew. Machacek has 7 goals in 11 games for WBS and he was scratched so Kobasew could play on Saturday.

I get what you are saying but... it isn't WB/S's problem that the Penguins are half-dumb. Or at least it shouldn't be. Would you want someone like say, Anton Zlobin, to lose playing time because of Taylor Pyatt?

Seriously though that closing speed he has is a nice compliment on a line. I dunno if he can survive the intensity of a playoff run, but he absolutely provides some decent pressure on the opposing team because of his speed.
