You can state "Penguins starting goalie" if you won't know who it is (though right now that'd be a bold move lol). I've seen a few people state the oppositions starting goalie before because we had a stretch where every night we were facing some random AHL callup who was a strong bet for a shutout.

As for skaters, you can't make selections outside of the rules (i.e. 4 stars instead of 3 - or adding a bunch of caveats...just keep it simple).
