Thought is that the Pens could use a true sniper (Neal type)..... they have the "abrasive" type players in Kunitz Perron and Horny but lack that true sniper. Skinner is young enough that Carolina would LOVE to keep him around but what package would be enticing enough to pry him out??
With Letangs injury problems and Martin in all honesty moving on (to Minnesota??) at the end of the season, the pens wouldn't be in a position to trade Maatta.
If Skinner is a no go.... is there a sniper out there that fills the bill??
