Thought they got overconfident to start the second, but they sorted it out. Solid effort by all 19 guys, but Ehrhoff gets my plus for a large volume of smart, simple, important plays that didn't show up on the scoresheet.

+ Actually winning games that we should win
+ Sid/Geno having 3 point nights
+ the PP
+ PK streak
+ Fleury's shutout streak
+ Defense looking strong
+ Despres being trusted with more minutes

Also, Buffalo is bad.

Good luck to Olli, I hope he has a quick recovery.

Coincidence or not, he's been much better since early this week when people were saying publicly he doesn't look so good.

+Everyone, honestly.

Special shout out to Despres, I was critical of him after the Flyers/Wings games but he's stepped us his play significantly since then and he's being rewarded for it.

-Steigerwald was more obnoxious than usual. Yes, we know Buffalo is bad, no need to gloat about it. The Pens were this bad before too.

Maatta will be missed.

Great game. I was prepared to be embarrased after that start to the 2nd period, but they turned it around.

+Everyone including Scuds. Skating better and with the active stick coming back. Made some simple passes with confidence. Baby steps.

Good luck to Olli, and I have to add that Comeau and the new additions are doing so great.

It sucks that we are losing Olli this week, but we are getting back Bortuzzo and Bennett so I guess that a little like Christmas coming early?

To be honest, I only thought he looked shaky at the very beginning of the year and then again in those 2 games from Hell against Philly and Detroit. Madden just wanted a guy to pick on.

Yep. He's looked great in his own end the past few games.

Once again... I think we have 9-10 straight amazing periods of hockey w/ hustle/passion/fight. I love it. Love every second of it.

Great efforts by our defense and Fleury.
