Some positive stuff on Sprong in JBs notebook:

Johnston raised some eyebrows when he said he still considers Daniel Sprong a junior player after Thursday night's game. It suggested the Penguins might want to send him back to juniors before he plays 10 games, which would make the first year of his entry-level contract kick in. Johnston walked back on those comments Friday. “I could have said a younger player, an 18-year-old player,†Johnston said. In general, he was complimentary of Sprong's play. “For me, he hasn't failed any tests yet,†he said.

I hate that line: "I still consider him a junior player". That's a sign of pre-judgement if ever I saw one.

Funny, because I consider Johnston a Jr. coach still.
