I don't think its really that much of an enigma. He's a good third liner. He's a bad top 6er.

Granted but there are moments where he shows flashes of top 6 potential, like the one we saw before drawing that penalty. He's definitely a very skilled player, but just too bloody inconsistent. Guess he's more like Staal than we originally thought.
