I believe he was a AHL only deal in WBS and this upgrades it to NHL.

We've had decent luck in the past with former Oiler outcasts...

Samorukov definitely has some intriguing tools. He's very mobile for someone his size. Jagger Joshua is another player on the WBS who deserves to get an NHL contract as well. He brings an element that's lacking in the system.

That would be a complete waste of a contract, unless the NHL suddenly removes all limits and may even if they do.

What little Joshua brings to the table is nothing that Mike Sullivan wants.

Besides, Joshua is just a very, very poor man's version of Josh Archibald.

And Archibald wasn't worth much.

What's a trademark label? Do I have one?

I tend to agree. I think the closest a NHL team is going to get to a Jagger is, as you said, the Archibald types. We have that in Nieto and Accari. The Jaggers of the league are few and far between.
