What's funny is that it's less than 100 miles from Chicago, but every acre of land south of the Mason-Dixon Line is "the south" when referring to non-traditional markets.

That's pretty bad though. One thing is for sure, the woman had no idea about sports at all.

I'm European so I didn't know that actually. But, I guess that might had something to do with them using that name then?

Yep. That's why he was named Mason "The Line" Dixon.

We could discuss how distasteful naming a black guy after a historical concept that separated Union States from Slave States in another thread, but I don't want to take the thread off topic more than I already did.

I always interpreted it as him pushing the line deeper and deeper into the South. :idk:
