Guess i am eating crow, i was one of them saying season was over with the loss of Malkin for 2 months.

Whatever the reason for the Canes not pulling the goalie, I'm mildly embarrassed.

Solid game, Murray had a rough start but was solid the rest of the way and that 2nd line is starting to come together while Malkin is out, the team really needs that line to start producing like a 2nd line.

Why? They seemed to be having fun and were loud, it wasn't a typical quiet Pens game and I am ok with that. People seem to find the weirdest thing to be embarrassed about.

I kept trying to come up with a reason other than denying a hat trick, but I couldn't come up with a good one. The 'canes management really showed its hand that they were giving in at the trade deadline, and it kind of showed up as the game wore on.

I love Skinner, but he was nearly invisible tonight.
