The frustrating thing about Zacha is that his issues seem almost exclusively confidence related.

He's scored 7 points in the last 10 games and found his place between Bratt and Gusev, so it'll be obvious soon, whether his problems are about confidence or not. He at least should get his confidence back now.

He produce in top 6 role

Last year he finish great too

He need to stay on top 6 lines and deserve it, not a surprise that he didnt get point on 3/4th lines

If he can reach 40 points it would be a pretty good mark as a 22 year old center. Not sure if NJ should trade high on him or keep him.
Keep him, I don't think he's going to get a return that is worth losing him plus he's the perfect third-line center who kills PPs.

I always thought Zacha would have a similar trajectory to what Kadri or (if the Devils are lucky) Couturier had; glimpses of potential here and there and inconsistent, but too big and too skilled to not put it together once he gets out of his own head.

He has always had great tools, should end up at least a quality 3rd liner. Has a chance to become a quality 2nd liner.

The main issue was that he was drafted 6th overall in a very strong draft - the next 4 picks were Provorov, Werenski, Meier and Rantanen. People rarely say “Zacha is terrible”, they say “Zacha was a terrible pick”, and that’s true.
