I just read this guy have won the Atlantic hockey player of the year 2011 as a senior at University of Niagara...

good shape 6'0'' and around 190 lbs...23 years old

    he got 55 pts ( 29g + 26a ) this year.

Do you think he have a chance to be sign by an NHL club this year

Student of mine at Niagara. Great kid. His hockey skills are obvious, but what really stands out about him is his character, dedication and leadership. I suspect numerous NHL teams would be interested in seeing what he can do at the next level.

    Good luck Paul!

Dave Starman said a lot of teams are taking a serious look at signing him.

Glad to see a bit of buzz surround a Purple Eagle. He's a nominee for the Hobey Baker, too.

If the Dogs extend his contract, does it make him Habs property?

No habs contract yet. They need to offer one first. After they have evaluated his skill level in the AHL.
