Don’t understand the criticism over this. Yeah he had a poor series but this season he actually has an off-season (kind of) and will be coming in healthy. Still one of the best players in the league.

i'm sure a big part of this has to do with concern over kawhi's future in LA. need to make sure they have that second star locked up long-term

He's not a great playoff player. Shot < 40% in the POs this year and 41.9% career playoffs. You're a CA fan who listed him as the #2 player in the league @ 2:01 PM ET today. :rolleyes:

That was quite obviously a joke. The ranking not my post here. When you're looking at this, you can't just consider Paul George. Clippers had to extend PG to even have a chance at extending Kawhi.

After his playoff performance.... he's better of sticking to a team thats willing to pay him max money. & with Ballmer at risk of losing Kawhi next summer, he was desperate to keep one of his star players. Also losing PG after trading a Kings Ransom for him would have been a nightmare.
