BILLS: Roster - Depth Chart - Stats

The AFC East-leading New England Patriots will face the Buffalo Bills in a Monday Night Football Game in a battle for first place in the AFC East. Last season, the Bills swept New England for the first time since the 1999 season, including a victory on Monday Night Football on Dec. 28 with a 38-9 win.

The Patriots, who enter this week with the NFL's longest winning streak at six games, will attempt to claim their 35th winning season with a victory. It would be their 24th winning season in the 28 years of ownership under Robert Kraft and the 20th winning season in 22 seasons under head coach Bill Belichick.

The Patriots and Bills enter this week tied for second in the NFL behind Indianapolis (27) with 25 takeaways. The teams have the two best scoring differentials in the NFL with the Patriots at +146 and the Bills at +144.

This week's game will be broadcast by ESPN and can be seen locally on WCVB-TV Channel 5 and WMUR-TV Channel 9 Steve Levy will handle play-by-play duties with Brian Griese and Louis Riddick as the color analysts. Lisa Salters will work from the sidelines.

ESPN2 - Manningcast with David Letterman

This week's game is available to stream nationally in the official Patriots app.
*Geographic and device restrictions apply. Data charges may apply.
Live game streams are also available on the Yahoo Sports app and the NFL Official App.

98.5 The Sports Hub is the flagship station for the Patriots Radio Network. A complete listing of the network's 35 stations can be found here. Play-by-play broadcaster Bob Socci will call the action along with former Patriots quarterback Scott Zolak, who will provide color analysis.

Had the misfortune of watching the Buffalo version of Sports Final and suffering watching Fred Smerlas and Steve DeOssie :help:

I can tell you the local fans I talked to have mixed emotions about the game as they want the Bills to win but they also want the Pegula's to be embarrassed. I heard at least 3 times tonight that fans wished Delaware North owned the Bills and Sabres.

The weatherman on NBC2 who has been around for years says conditions are ripe for the game to be played in a lake effect blizzard with high winds. It is not uncommon that where the stadium is located can get 2 feet of snow and 12 miles away downtown Buffalo gets nothing.

Don’t we all wish the Sabres and the Bills were owned by Delaware North?

A win here is massive because I believe Buffalo plays Tampa next week.
Bills season could go off the rails quickly. 3 of their next 4 are against NE and TB.

They could absolutely lose all 3 of those games and be sitting at 8-7 with a win against CAR sandwiched in there.

On the flip side, they are talented enough to run the table for the remainder of the season, as the aforementioned games are really the only loseable games left on the schedule.

Are you ready for some football? It's a Monday night party!

This game should be an absolute barn burner.

Weather WILL be an issue

Weather forecast for Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots game | wgrz.com

BUFFALO, N.Y. — In what is setting up to be the most important game of the Buffalo Bills season, weather conditions will be a huge hurdle for both teams.

Rain, gusty winds, snow showers, and falling temperatures are all potential impacts for both the game and tailgaters. A strong area of low pressure will pass by Western New York during the day today which will spawn these weather changes.

Starting early today, we will have widespread rain showers moving through Western New York. That rain should taper off by mid-day. Temperatures which will start off in the 50s during the morning will fall off into the low to mid 30s by kick off.

The winds will begin to pick up this afternoon and will be a factor through this evening as a cold front pushes through the area. Temperatures will also continually fall throughout the day too and change any of that rain into snow showers by the early evening. For tailgaters, it will be a tough go on Monday afternoon and evening. Tents and canopies may not be sustainable with those gusty winds and a few bursts of snow.

The likelihood of these strong winds has led to the High Wind Warning being issued for Southern Erie County until 8 p.m. Monday, just before kickoff. This doesn't mean the winds will immediately diminish once the game gets underway, but strongest of the winds will be backing off during the evening.

There may be a few bursts of snow towards the beginning of the game but then the snow should settle south of the stadium tonight.

IMO bad weather hurts the Bills more than the Patriots.

The Bills are the finesse pass heavy team and go for long bombs. The Patriots play a game that is far less affected by weather...run the ball, short passing game and play defense.
